Do you love helping others?  Are you wanting to make a difference in someone's life?  Join our team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and help adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities gain independence while playing a vital role in their life.  The Direct Support Professional is a great position for anyone interested in: social services, healthcare, mental health, or nursing to gain experience in their desire field.  We offer flexible schedules including weekends and overnight positions that allow you to get paid while you sleep!  

ADD, the Association for the Developmentally Disabled, is a Hattie Larlham agency in Central Ohio. The nonprofit organization provides residential and recreational services to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Together, Hattie Larlham and ADD serve approximately 1,800 Ohioans with intellectual and developmental disabilities.


The Direct Support Professional is responsible to provide direct supports to the individuals served, including, but not limited to: assisting in maintaining a clean, safe living environment, meal preparation, completion of various household tasks, and personal care assistance.  This person will also be supervising, teaching, and assisting the individuals served in every aspect of his/her life, with the goals of fostering increased independence, choice and empowerment while assuring that the health and safety needs are met at all times.


  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous direct care experience in a related field preferred.
  • Valid Ohio Driver's License with five or fewer points.
  • Personal vehicle with proof of liability insurance required.
  • Sueccessful completion of Drug & Background Screens
